Four Corners Monument - Navajo Nation Arizona USA | #InfiniteWanderlust

Four Corners Monument is the only place in the United States where four states intersect - Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado.

It’s located on the Navajo Indian Reservation. In addition to the four states, the Navajo Nation and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Reservation have boundaries at the monument. It is maintained by the Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation Department. The site is near to the popular Monument Valley.

The Four Corners Monument Visitor Center is open year-round. You can see vendor booths selling handmade Navajo jewelry and crafts. Navajo cultural demonstrations also takes place at the monument from time to time.

There is an admission fee to enter the monument. Only cash is accepted. Be prepared with the exact change. Nearest ATM (and Gas station) is 5 miles away at Teec Nos Pos, Arizona. Also keep in mind that there is no water or electricity at the site.

The monument is in a remote location in the Navajo reservation. Cortez, Colorado or Farmington, New Mexico would be 'closest' towns.

You would have seen this spot in Breaking Bad series. In “Cornered” - season 4 episode 6 - Skyler White drives to the Four Corners with her infant daughter.
